Gloss

    A term commonly used in the Qing dynasty for a two-sloped, gable roof which extends beyond the wall plane on the gable ends (Guo 2002, 86). This type can also be called a xuanshanding 懸山頂, where ding 頂 means roof (Fu 2017, 370).2

    一種兩坡，並且在山面挑出的屋頂形式。2
