Building Information
The passage hall, which Liu Dapeng 劉大鵬 calls an offering hall (xiangdian 享殿) is the second building on the central axis after the entering gatehouse. Its roof is rounded in a single-eaves, juanpeng 卷棚 (lit. scroll-roof) style, without a central ridge pole (dong 棟). The plan of this structure is square with both depth and width being three bays. There is a set of Yuan Dynasty music attendant clay sculptures inside of the passage hall. Between the gatehouse and the passage hall, there are over forty steles in the connecting corridors (Liu 2015, 45-46; Liu 1986, 16).1
