Note

    Literally meaning “jump” or "step," in Yingzao Fashi (1103) the term tiao is used to refer to either horizontal bracket arms (gong ) or slanted bracket arms (ang ) projecting perpendicularly from the wall plane. One tiao refers to one outward projection, and there can be up to five projections in a bracket set.5

    在《营造法式》(1103) 中是斗栱做法術語,即指挑出。挑出一层,称一跳,最多至五跳。5
